What if we could play an algorithm?
An algorithm can be more than a hidden mechanism behind a finished piece of music or visual art. It can become something we encounter directly: a rhythm suspended in space, a field that responds to gesture, or a relationship that transforms sound and light together.
AKEY Energy Field explores a creative environment in which people shape not only outcomes, but also the systems that generate them.
The goal is not merely to make a new VR instrument. It is to explore creativity itself as something that can be performed.
Human–AI co-creation
Our long-term aspiration is a living creative field where humans, algorithms, and AI explore and discover new forms of expression together.
AI may one day help interpret intentions, suggest algorithmic combinations, and explore unexpected behaviors. Human imagination and judgment remain central: suggestions can be questioned, reshaped, or declined. AI should be optional, and the instrument meaningful without it. These are future research aspirations, not implemented capabilities.
